I’m a British hand embroiderer based on the Sunshine Coast in BC, unceded territory of skwxwú7mesh and shíshálh nations.

My work marries a deep love for nature with a background in design, taking an essentialist approach to highly detailed studies. My main source of inspiration is the wildlife of Canada’s West Coast.

Working at such a small scale, I carefully consider every stitch ensuring it adds value to the overall piece. This way of embroidering requires patience and consistent focus. It fosters a state of being that goes beyond my art and encourages a slower, more intentional way of life.

I moved to BC after living and working in London, England. The initial buzz and excitement of a big city had turned to overwhelm, and Vancouver provided a respite I wasn’t aware I needed at the time. The relationship I’ve developed to nature here has been incredibly healing and my work is a celebration of this.
